  • Support the execution of government engagement strategic objectives.
  • Bolster relationships with governments through trust and credibility.
  • Aid preparation, organization, and review of papers, briefings, policies, and reports.
  • Monitor emerging government issues; manage government-related events, issues, and briefings; and serve as the primary point of contact for government interactions.
">Essential Skills and Qualifications">
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role undertaking government relations within Australia's complex environment.
  • Familiarity with Australia's electricity and gas sectors.
  • In-depth understanding of the machinery of government, including direct experience liaising at senior Departmental and Ministerial office level, preferably at the Federal level.
  • Established networks and reputation with governments, particularly at the Federal level.

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, policy, commerce, economics, law, or a related discipline, or significant relevant experience.
