Government Relations Strategist

Key Role">

As a Government Relations Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our engagement with government and diplomatic representatives. You will develop and implement our government relations strategy, leveraging your expertise to shape our relationships with government at the federal, diplomatic, and state levels.

Responsibilities">

Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant area, combined with experience in politics or a previous government relations or corporate affairs role.

  • Support government relations at the federal, diplomatic, and state levels for our organization in Australia.
  • Participate in meetings with representatives across various levels of government.
  • Develop messaging on relevant policy areas.
  • Work across our organization to develop policy positions on areas of priority.
  • Provide government relations support for existing and potential transactions and investments for our organization.
Requirements">

Our ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Australian politics at federal, state, and local levels, and an understanding of international politics.

  • Experience in politics or a previous government relations or corporate affairs role.
  • A strong understanding of the financial services industry is valuable.
