Government Relations Associate

The role supports Macquarie's engagement with government and diplomatic representatives, developing and implementing the Group's government relations strategy.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support regulatory and governance requirements across the team
  • Coordinate key engagements with government stakeholders, including managing logistics to support activities
  • Monitor policy developments relevant to Macquarie's businesses
  • Assist the Group's engagement with ministerial, departmental and diplomatic representatives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant area such as communications, public policy or international relations
  • Demonstrated interest in politics and government relations, with an understanding of the Australian political landscape
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills
