Safety Health and Sustainability Advisor

This exciting opportunity is designed to deliver and contribute to the company's safety management plans and key objectives. Reporting to the National Safety Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting site personnel in the development of site and task-specific risk assessments, operational procedures, and work instructions.
The Safety Health and Sustainability Advisor will work closely with the site leadership team and Division SHS Team to execute strategic and operational plans, driving behavioural safety change across the business. The role will also involve day-to-day support and advice to various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist site personnel in developing site and task-specific risk assessments, operational procedures, and work instructions.
- Develop and/or review site inductions with respect to company and owner requirements when working on common user sites.
- Liaise with third-party site representatives and regulatory bodies for the purposes of undertaking investigations, obtaining key information, and communicating the company's SHS Management Plan.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in OHS/WHS.
- A minimum of five years leading in an operational SHS environment.
- Incident Cause Analysis Method (ICAM) experience.
- Experience in implementing and managing safety management systems.
- Ability to develop tactical plans to address safety issues.
