About the Role

Infrastructure People is seeking a highly experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSEQ) professional to join their team as a HSEQ Advisor and Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving compliance and achieving Safety Certainty 2.0 Program KPIs for the relevant customer stream.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a WHS leadership role and a minimum of 10 years in WHS generally, with a Certificate IV or greater in WHS. They will also have the ability to obtain an ADF DCAC and Police Check.

The HSEQ Advisor and Manager will be responsible for mentoring WHS advisors and operational teams in the effective application of the Business Management System, as well as leading, training, and motivating senior WHS advisors and WHS advisors in the customer stream and operational teams.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring new and revised company BMS processes are communicated to and implemented by operational teams, preparing executive investigation reports and presentations, and providing monthly progress reports to the assigned executive general manager and national WHS manager.

About You

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a WHS leadership role
  • Minimum 10 years in WHS generally
  • Certificate IV or greater in WHS
  • Ability to obtain ADF DCAC and Police Check
  • ICAM Lead Investigator Training (desirable)
  • Willingness to work remotely for periods within the NT (desirable)
  • Good knowledge of Asbestos Removal and Demolition (desirable)
