Job Description:
The successful candidate will play a key role in connecting clients to vital mental health services by managing the regional intake and referral queue, ensuring timely and appropriate allocation of clients to clinicians. This includes conducting intake assessments for couples and family counselling, including Family and Domestic Violence (FDV) screening.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the regional intake and referral queue to ensure timely and appropriate allocation of clients to clinicians.
- Conduct intake assessments for couples and family counselling, including FDV screening.
- Liaise with clients, clinicians, and internal teams to ensure delivery of trauma-informed, client-centred support.
- Maintain a small clinical caseload and support internal referrals.
- Contribute to quality improvement, program evaluation, and clinical policy development.

- Brings a warm, empathic and professional therapeutic approach.
- Demonstrates sound clinical judgement, attention to detail and effective time management.

- Is comfortable using IT systems and clinical documentation tools.
- Has experience in assessing and managing risk, particularly in family and domestic violence contexts.
