Insurance Governance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Governance Manager to join our team at Open. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring our insurance offerings are compliant with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a monitoring program to ensure adherence to underwriting mandates, product design, and distribution obligations.
  • Perform testing to assess ongoing compliance with relevant underwriting guidelines and other requirements.
  • Research and investigate incidents and breaches to identify root causes and inform remediation efforts.
  • Collaborate with Insurance Legal and Compliance to govern Open's fulfillment of regulatory obligations.
  • Build effective relationships across the business to ensure seamless communication and access to relevant information.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of risk, risk frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • General insurance experience is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and natural curiosity.
