About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Governance Manager to join our team at Open. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a monitoring program to ensure adherence to our underwriting mandates, product design, and distribution obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a suite of exception reports to monitor alignment with underwriting guidelines, target market determinations, product design, and distribution obligations.
  • Perform testing to assess ongoing compliance with relevant underwriting guidelines and other requirements.
  • Research and investigate incidents and breaches to identify root causes and inform remediation efforts.
  • Collaborate with Insurance Legal and Compliance to govern Open's fulfillment of regulatory obligations.
  • Build relationships across the business to gather context and information for analysis and problem-solving.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of risk, risk frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and natural curiosity.
  • General insurance experience is preferred.
