Key Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Reservations Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in reservations management and excellent communication skills.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the rostering of staff ensuring sufficient coverage throughout the week and yearly demand cycles
  • Develop and maintain the department's training manuals for new staff
  • Deliver on-boarding training for all new team members
  • Maintain your team's knowledge with resort facilities and product offerings such as packages etc
  • Conduct regular team appraisals and provide feedback to maximise performance and team engagement
  • Assist the Revenue Manager to maintain and monitor multiple distribution channel interfaces ensuring they're configured correctly and are communicating effectively in real time
  • Educate and demonstrate a basic understanding of revenue management fundamentals and how they impact operations

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is mandatory to be successful, Opera PMS highly desirable
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a Travel Agent or 4/5-star hotel/resort environment
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Enthusiastic, engaging, and positive leadership approach
  • Strong sales focus and ability to up-sell resort features
  • Ability to juggle multiple calls and enquiries
  • Demonstrated experience working in a high volume inbound call environment
  • Ability to commit to a min of 6 months with flexibility for this to be extended if required
