Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and collaborative facilities manager to join our property team. As a valuable member of the team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a diverse portfolio of properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage property operations and maintenance budgets;
  • Comply with regulatory and health and safety standards;
  • Oversee minor capital works projects (typically under $200K);
  • Manage contractors and performance management;
  • Reactive and routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of all buildings;
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Contract management.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of facilities management experience in portfolios of 100+ properties preferable;
  • Strong understanding of building codes, Australian standards, essential services, statutory, and WHS legislation;
  • Proven track record in customer and key stakeholder management;
  • Proficient IT skills, including facilities management software and the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Experience developing and managing maintenance schedules;
  • Engineering, building, or trade qualification/background preferable.
