Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled mental health clinician to join our multidisciplinary team, providing clinical leadership and supervision to support young people in custody.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting mental health assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based care that is culturally safe and responsive to the diverse needs of all young people and families.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality clinical care to young people in need of immediate care and their families.
- Collaborate with key agencies and community groups to establish and maintain strong partnerships.
- Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team to deliver recovery-oriented care.
A mental health clinician experienced in early intervention and evidence-based care for young people in custody.
Eligible disciplines: RPN Grade 4 / Occupational Therapist, Social Worker and Psychologist Grade 3.
Relevant registration and qualifications (see position description for details).
Minimum 5 years' experience in tertiary and/or youth mental health and a demonstrated ability to supervise mental health clinicians.
A sound knowledge of the youth justice and/or criminal justice system and other relevant community based forensic services.
