Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in the field of human resources? We're seeking an experienced HR Advisor/Officer to support our client's dedicated HR team and help foster a positive culture in a 12-month fixed term contract position.

About the Role:

As the HR Advisor, you will work closely with the HR team to manage HR inquiries, support case management for volunteers, and contribute to developing and implementing HR policies and procedures. This role is a unique opportunity to bring your HR skills to a mission-driven organization, directly contributing to outcomes that benefit Australian wildlife.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage end-to-end employee relations matters, lead investigations, and manage complex cases with attention to detail.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, handling high volumes of inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Support the development of HR policies, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with managers to provide administrative support, data management, and reporting services.
  • Contribute to performance evaluations, helping develop feedback mechanisms and improvement plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and case management documentation to ensure data integrity.

We're looking for a candidate with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing employee relations, investigations, and case management.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • A passion for animal welfare and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
