Human Resources Specialist for Animal Welfare

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team at HR Partners by Randstad. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the field of animal welfare.
About the RoleAs the Human Resources Specialist, you will work closely with our dedicated HR team to manage HR inquiries, support case management for volunteers, and contribute to developing and implementing HR policies and procedures. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Case Management Support: Handle HR and volunteer employee relations enquiries, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions.
- Policy and Process Development: Assist in creating and refining HR policies, processes, and procedures to support the growing volunteer base.
- Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the HR team, supporting managers with various tasks and project requirements.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure HR practices comply with relevant laws and policies, and contribute to HR reporting.
- Performance Management: Support managers in volunteer performance evaluations, helping develop feedback mechanisms and improvement plans.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in HR processes and suggest enhancements for greater efficiency and engagement.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records and case management documentation to ensure data integrity.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience managing end-to-end ER matters, leading investigations and managing complex cases.
- Ability to manage high volumes of inquiries with excellent customer service skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or similar.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- Effective communicator, able to manage relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Passionate about animal welfare, and a positive attitude.
- Previous experience in a NFP organisation is preferable.

- A salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum.
