Job Title: Healthcare Leadership Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and manage the delivery of healthcare services in a remote facility setting.

This position involves overseeing the administration and management of medical models of care, including:

  • Accreditation of colleges
  • Recruitment and retention strategies for rural generalist trainees
  • Implementation of medical workforce initiatives funded by Queensland Health

Key objectives include improving leadership and management skills, with a focus on developing expertise in medical administration.

Effective coordination of strategic and operational plans is essential in ensuring quality patient care. This requires strong understanding of service delivery models and ability to make informed decisions.

As a training position accredited by the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA), applicants must demonstrate commitment to professional development and education.
