Chief Radiographer / Sonographer

We're currently seeking an experienced Chief Radiographer or Sonographer to lead a highly respected imaging team at one of North Sydneys most prestigious hospitals. This is an exceptional opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role, either as a natural next step or a sideways move into a more complex and rewarding environment.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for overseeing a large technical team (40+ FTE), ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging services and providing strong leadership across clinical, operational, and people management areas.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing clinical duties within your modality of expertise
• Providing supervision, mentorship, and performance management for technical staff
• Managing rosters, leave planning, and resource allocation
• Ensuring compliance with internal quality and safety standards
• Working closely with hospital stakeholders, referrers, and patients
• Collaborating with the Regional Manager, Office Manager, and key executives
• Contributing to commercial performance by managing clinic costs effectively

About You

• Hospital-based people management experience
• Either a senior Radiographer or Sonographer looking for a step up
• Full skill set in ultrasound strongly preferred (if a Sonographer)
• If a Radiographer, full modality coverage is not essential
• A collaborative leadership style with a strong focus on team development
• Confident in driving both clinical excellence and operational performance
