Risk and Compliance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk and Compliance Senior Consultant to join our team in Sydney or Melbourne. As a key member of our Risk Modernisation team, you will play a critical role in delivering core risk and compliance solutions to clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities- Support and advise clients on the development and implementation of risk frameworks, risk programs, and compliance programs.
- Assess and implement controls testing and uplift, and design and implement compliance programs.
- Support Partners, Directors, and Executives to identify and execute business development activities to build the Ashurst Risk Advisory brand.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- You have 3-5 years of experience in a client-facing role within a well-respected consulting firm, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or internal audit.
- You are an experienced risk practitioner with a proven track record of developing risk management strategies and controls.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You are passionate about collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team and have experience managing multiple projects throughout their entire engagement lifecycle.
