Risk and Compliance Specialist

Oxygen Recruitment & HR is seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

About the Role

This is a 6-month fixed term contract opportunity to work with a leading non-bank lender. You will be responsible for undertaking targeted QA activity on the new loan book acquired, to improve compliance. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring general conduct obligations are satisfactory and providing day-to-day support to the compliance and enterprise risk section.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract review and analysis
  • Regulatory and legal due diligence
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Day-to-day support of the compliance and enterprise risk section
  • Troubleshooting internal matters around risk and compliance
  • Developing and maintaining policies
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in risk and compliance, with a deep understanding of consumer credit, including the National Consumer Credit Protection (NCCP) framework. You will have exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Experience in asset finance is highly regarded.
