About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Utilities Engineer to join our Civil Team in Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering utility engineering services to the Transport, Defence, and Water Infrastructure Markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study, design, and specify utilities infrastructure, including roads and rail infrastructure.
  • Devise new approaches to problems encountered and perform work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Plan, schedule, and conduct work involving conventional engineering practice, including complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering degree.
  • Experience in design and/or practical experience in the coordination and delivery of utility designs and approvals throughout the design and construction process.
  • Working knowledge of commercial arrangements and relationships within the Utilities design and construction process.
  • Strong technical design ability specifically in the Utilities environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong practical knowledge of and commitment to health and safety.
  • Chartered Status is preferred.
