The Role

This is an exciting opportunity within our Civil Team, focusing on providing utility engineering services across the Transport, Defence, and Water Infrastructure sectors, working on projects that include road and rail systems.

In this position, you will be accountable for the study, design, specification, and management of utilities infrastructure, particularly in transport and water sectors. You will develop innovative solutions to challenges faced, plan and schedule tasks, and execute work that requires independent judgment in evaluating, selecting, and adapting engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. Your responsibilities will involve conventional engineering practices while addressing complex issues such as conflicting design requirements and challenging coordination needs.

Who Are You?

To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree along with experience in design and/or practical involvement in coordinating and delivering utility designs and approvals throughout the design and construction phases.

  • Familiarity with commercial agreements and relationships within the utilities design and construction sector.
  • Strong technical design capabilities, particularly in the utilities domain. Proficiency in AutoCAD, 12D, Civil3D, and Navisworks is highly regarded but not mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of and commitment to health and safety practices.
  • Chartered Status is preferred.
