Accounting and Administration Role
We are seeking an experienced accounting and administration professional to join our team at a dynamic Engineering company in Parramatta. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary package.
As an Accounts and Office All Rounder, you will be responsible for various tasks including processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and providing exceptional customer service to clients. You will also be assisting the team with administrative duties, meeting and greeting clients, and ensuring accurate data entry into our system.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an 'all-round' accounts role, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Experience using MYOB and proficiency in MS Excel are essential for this position.

About the Role
- Process invoices into MYOB, follow up on overdue invoices, and arrange payments
- Take calls and assist clients with enquiries, responding to emails and transferring to relevant staff members
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist the accountant with month-end procedures
- Accurately enter data into our system
- Assist the team with administrative and general office duties, meeting and greeting clients
About You
- Previous experience required in an 'all-round' accounts role doing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bookkeeping tasks
- High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Clear communication – both written and verbal, with good phone manner and ability to write professionally in email correspondence
- To enjoy a role that has variety, with an Accounts focus but also taking calls and email from clients and assisting with their enquiries
- Experience using MYOB – this is essential, and you will also need to be proficient with MS Excel
