About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team as an Accounts and Office Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a role with variety, where you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office and assisting with accounts payable and receivable tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process invoices into MYOB, follow up on overdue invoices, and arrange payments
  • Take calls and assist clients with enquiries, often transferring to relevant personnel in Engineering or responding to emails
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist the accountant with month-end procedures
  • Accurately enter data into our system
  • Assist the team with general office duties and meet-and-greet clients
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in an all-round accounts role with skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including good phone manner and professional email correspondence
  • An enthusiasm for working in a role with variety, where you can switch between tasks throughout the day
  • Experience using MYOB, with proficiency in MS Excel
