About the Role

The Junior Retail Project Manager will provide support to retail visual merchandising projects, focusing on displays, point-of-sale (POS) and in-store communications. This role involves managing and organizing cross-functional teams within the company, retailers, and third-party agencies. Projects will cover a range of retail programs, including shop displays, visual merchandising, POS and category program activations both in-store and external events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery and installation of retail shop POS and VM across the consumer electronics business from concept, design, and installation. Ensure all branded fixtures and products have the correct POS and VM principles applied, representative of the company brand in-store and agreed by the business.
  • Ensure the company brand is front and centre through retail activations, alignment with company brand guidelines and HQ prioritization of projects.
  • Own the relationship with the field team by being the key point of contact for all field-related issues and owning all field communication for retail programs.
  • Assist the Retail Programs Manager in completing analysis & reports, including retail health checks, fixture auditing, retail mapping, weekly progress reports, and preparation for HQ visits.
  • Work closely with the Retail Programs Manager to understand key shopper and consumer research and ensure this is the basis for all retail programs.
  • Own budget management to ensure retail projects are delivered on budget and on time while navigating all company financial and approval processes.
About You
  • Minimum 4+ years' experience in a retail-focused role, in a retail design agency, advertising agency, or marketing function within a brand environment.
  • Experience in the sales environment in a field team of retail operations would be considered.
  • Excel and/or project management or planogram software knowledge highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of project management.
  • Strong retail understanding of opportunities and barriers within the in-store environment.
