About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the efficient delivery of our projects. As a Safety Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our projects are completed safely and in compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of safe work practices across projects
- Design and implement new and emerging safety programs to improve project delivery
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and industry requirements
- Provide regular reports to management to identify areas for improvement and optimize safety performance
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a field such as safety, risk management, or a related discipline
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with project teams
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in subdivisions and infrastructure projects
