Technical Operations Manager

A seasoned technical professional is required to lead and manage our Service Team.
This role involves directing daily workflows, maintaining operational excellence, optimizing productivity, and ensuring equipment availability.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing CMMS reporting, overseeing maintenance activities, and driving both technical performance and operational efficiency.
This position is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of one of our key operations, helping to meet service level expectations and business goals.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with experience leading small technical teams in an industrial environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Shift Leader by providing hands-on support and guidance to the team.
- Overseeing daily workflows to ensure smooth operations and timely task completion.
- Enhancing productivity and efficiency by implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining high service quality by closely monitoring processes and outputs.
- Utilising the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for accurate maintenance activity reporting and tracking.
You are a skilled leader who always looks to add value and create a collaborative team environment.
Experience with ASRS systems is beneficial.
You possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels, both in writing and verbally.
Analytical abilities to interpret data, control system reports, and diagnostics for efficient equipment management.
