Expert Operational Specialist Sought

We seek a highly skilled Expert Operational Specialist to join our Payments domain.

In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to develop, maintain, and support innovative solutions that address complex challenges in the payments industry.

  • Leading operational lifecycle management, including incident, change, and problem resolution. Providing guidance and mentorship to engineers to ensure high-quality operational delivery.
  • Providing 24/7 on-call support as required by management.
  • Delivering advanced technical expertise and strategic input into operational design, process optimization, and best practices. Enhancing operational scalability, long-term stability, and overall efficiency.
  • Ensuring user access and service requests meet agreed standards while identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve service levels.
  • Maintaining and improving operational documentation, including configuration details, processes, and best practices. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead operational lifecycle management, including incident, change, and problem resolution.
  2. Provide 24/7 on-call support as required.
  3. Deliver advanced technical expertise and strategic input into operational design.
  4. Ensure user access and service requests meet agreed standards.
  5. Maintain and improve operational documentation.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience as an Operational Specialist or similar role.
  • Experience operating within ITIL framework.
  • Scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automating operational tasks.
  • Solid understanding of databases (SQL, NoSQL).
  • AWS Cloud, CI/CD tool GitHub, monitoring tools (Splunk, BMC Helix).
Desirable Requirements:
  • Payments (Account to Account) experience.
