About the Role

The Community Manager is a critical position responsible for crafting an exceptional end-to-end experience for our community members. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in growing and engaging our Perion Discord and Twitter Community, as well as XP.GG's Instagram and Tiktok platforms.

You will work closely with our Director of PR & Social, Marketing Manager, and CMO to drive company growth objectives. This role is instrumental in transforming curious Web3 individuals into dedicated community members. You will also oversee the management and growth of a community team of moderators to achieve your goals.

The community team is responsible for delivering a seamless experience for new DAO members (PERC holders) from onboarding to activation in DAO activities. You will develop support systems and collaborate with team members to provide accurate answers to our members.

You will be responsible for maintaining our community platforms (Discord) and onboarding new Discord members, activating them to explore the DAO. Additionally, you will manage our branded Instagram and Tiktok social channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute community growth and engagement strategies in collaboration with the marketing and product team.
  • Lead and manage a team of community moderators, including resource allocation, scheduling, performance supervision, and continuous feedback.
  • Implement a better user experience within our current community platform (Discord).
  • Develop and implement branded social channels, including Instagram and Tiktok.
  • Identify actionable community insights and present market opportunities to other team members.
  • Oversee the setup of Discord channels, permissions, bots, and security measures.
  • Monitor, analyze, and provide reports on community and campaign performance, suggesting initiatives for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to drive community growth and engagement.
  • Plan and execute community events, both in-person and online.
  • Develop a partnerships and collaboration plan to partner with other communities in the gaming space.
  • Lead the creation of consistent community events and activities that engage the community and DAO members.
  • You will also be responsible for understanding best practices and emerging trends within the field, planning ways to implement them to accelerate the growth of the PerionDAO community.

Your Skills and Experience

  • 1+ years of experience building a gaming and/or Web3 community.
  • 2+ years of managing social media for a personal or corporate brand.
  • Experience in leading a team of moderators.
  • Crypto and/or gaming native.
  • Strong understanding of community platforms, engagement strategies, and analytics.
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong English, written and verbal communication.
  • History of growth and scaling a community.
  • Good understanding of blockchain and Web3.
  • Independent problem-solving mindset.
