Community Health Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Feros Care. As a Community Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to older adults in their homes.
This is a casual position with the possibility of becoming permanent part-time in the future. You will be working autonomously, traveling to cover areas in Wide Bay/Fraser Coast QLD, ideally based in Hervey Bay or Maryborough.
Your Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based in-home nursing care, including wound and catheter care and insertion.
- Work with Home Care Package and Short-Term Restorative Care clients.
- Travel throughout your community to provide care and support.
- Ensure efficient daily workload planning, including travel, documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks.
- Competitive hourly rate between $39.61 - $49.61 + 25% Casual Loading plus 11.5% super.
- Salary packaging up to $15,899 tax-free annually.
- Meal and Entertainment Card up to $2,650 of your pre-tax income.
- KM reimbursement at 99c per km.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration, a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in aged care. You should have a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of the elderly and be able to travel using your own vehicle.
Essential requirements include:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Current and unrestricted Australian driver's license.
- Current vehicle registration and compulsory third-party personal injury insurance.
- Vaccine certification in accordance with legislative requirements.
