About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Feros Care. As a Community Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to older adults in their homes.

This is an autonomous role that requires you to travel to cover various areas in Wide Bay/Fraser Coast QLD. Ideally, the suitable applicant will be located in either Hervey Bay or Maryborough to help cover both areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing evidence-based in-home nursing care, including wound and catheter care and insertion.
  • Working with Home Care Package and Short-Term Restorative Care clients.
  • Ensuring efficient daily workload planning, including travel, documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks.

About You

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration, who thrives in a community care setting. Essential qualifications include:

  • A minimum of 2 years as a Registered Nurse, preferably with a focus on aged care.
  • Experience with continence assessments, catheter insertion/care and wound care.
  • Genuine passion for enhancing the lives of the elderly.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Current and unrestricted Australian driver's license and ability to travel using own vehicle.
  • Current vehicle registration including compulsory third-party personal injury insurance.
  • Vaccine certification in accordance with legislative requirements.
