About the Role

The State Government of Victoria, Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Violence Practice Manager to lead our Specialist Family Violence Court model at Heidelberg and Broadmeadows Courts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and supervision to a team of specialist family violence practitioners.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a specialist family violence response within a court setting.
  • Provide practice leadership and supervision to achieve consistent practice aligned with organisational and professional standards.
  • Contribute to family violence court reform and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a related therapeutic discipline such as social work, psychology, or social sciences.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Family Violence including drivers, risks and issues that can exacerbate family violence risk.
  • Proven track record in managing and leading specialist family violence staff and teams in complex organisational environments.
