Central Information Point Registrar

**About the Role**
The Central Information Point Registrar fulfills the core function of the Central Information Point by responding to requests for information on people using family violence. The Data Officer searches court databases and inputs information to be consolidated into a report. The role requires knowledge of courts, the Information Sharing Schemes, and family violence legislation.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Preparing legal, administrative, and quasi-judicial functions in accordance with policies and court operational practices
- Operating computer systems, including case-management systems such as Courtlink
- Providing advice on information held within the Court Register, summarising information to support risk assessment and management of family violence
- Contributing to the preparation of Central Information Point (CIP) reports
**Requirements**
- Certificate in Court Services or equivalent
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of experience and training
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Family Violence Sharing Scheme
- Understanding of the nature and dynamics of family violence and the operation of the family violence jurisdiction with the Magistrates' Court of Victoria
