Country Road Group is embarking on a transformation journey to drive growth and unlock its full potential. To achieve this, we are investing in new capabilities and seeking an experienced Supply Chain Efficiency Strategist to lead the way.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives that improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels. This role will oversee the analysis of downstream networks, identifying opportunities for improvement and developing strategies to implement change.

This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain principles, particularly in network optimization, lead time reduction, and cost management. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading teams, fostering collaboration, and building a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse downstream supply chain networks to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to implement change.
  • Oversee the execution of complex projects aimed at optimizing supply chain processes and building new capabilities.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining or improving service quality.
  • Partner with logistics, distribution, and production teams to align supply chain optimization with broader business goals.
  • Drive the development and adoption of new tools, systems, and capabilities to improve supply chain efficiency and scalability.
  • Identify risks within the supply chain and implement strategies to mitigate potential disruptions.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably with a focus on network optimization, lead time reduction, and cost management.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including team management, collaboration, and cultural development.
  • Proven track record of managing and executing complex, large-scale projects from concept through to implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills, with expertise in data analysis and strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Salary Range

A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, plus bonuses and benefits, is on offer for this exciting opportunity.
