We are seeking a highly skilled Control Assurance Manager to join our team at CommBank. As a key member of our Controls and Customer Outcomes (CCO) team, you will play a critical role in driving sustainable enhancements to business practices and processes that deliver better outcomes for our customers, shareholders, and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement automated controls to ensure strong risk and compliance outcomes.
  • Ensure the effective design of automated controls for new and changing processes and operations.
  • Support the development and embedment of a continuous assurance model.
  • Conduct and manage Control Assurance Program (CAP) testing, including the development of test scripts and reporting on assurance findings.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in testing automated/application controls or IT general controls with a strong operational risk management background.
  • Experience using SQL and the ability to think critically and analytically, and use data-driven insights to solve problems/achieve risk/assurance outcomes.
  • A strong understanding of software development lifecycle and implementation testing.
  • Influencing and consulting skills, the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze/identify risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Leadership capability with the ability to drive a positive, professional, and engaging team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced data analytics and programming skills are desirable.
