We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic People & Culture team. This exciting 12-month fixed-term role offers the chance to contribute to the accurate and timely payment of employees across David Jones stores, support centres, and fulfilment centres.

The Role: As a Junior Payroll Specialist, you will play a vital part in ensuring compliance with legislative, award, and enterprise agreement guidelines. Your responsibilities will include administering employee/employer deductions, contributions, and benefits, as well as managing employee records and transfers.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should have experience working in high-volume payroll functions, preferably within a retail environment. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including V-lookups and formulas, are also essential. Strong communication skills and a passion for payroll will serve you well in this position.
