Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled mid-level payroll specialist to support our client in Melbourne's CBD for a temporary contract. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a flexible hybrid environment, leveraging ADP to streamline end-to-end payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute payroll processing using ADP, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Reconcile employee pay and accrued leave entitlements, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Manage documentation for new hires and departures, including creation of new employee records and distribution of starter kits.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to payroll inquiries from employees, demonstrating strong communication skills.
  • Facilitate payroll adjustments for salary increments and contribute to month-end and year-end procedures, showcasing organizational capabilities.
  • Perform various administrative duties, such as file maintenance, police checks, and expense reimbursement.
Requirements
  • Prior experience with ADP is essential; 3+ years of payroll experience is preferred.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills are required to excel in this role.
  • Solid verbal and written communication proficiency is necessary for effective collaboration.
