Home Therapy Opportunities

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to deliver client-centred care to individuals in their homes.


As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and develop your skills in assessment, intervention planning, and goal setting.


You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing personalised intervention plans, and recommending appropriate assistive equipment and home modifications to maximise client independence.


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with clients, families, support coordinators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing client-centred care to elderly individuals and people living with disabilities in their homes
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments using standardised tools and clinical observation
  • Developing personalised intervention plans and setting meaningful, achievable goals
  • Recommending appropriate assistive equipment and home modifications to maximise client independence
  • Preparing clear and timely reports using structured templates and clinical tools
  • Applying sound clinical reasoning across a wide range of conditions and presentations
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development and integrating new skills into clinical practice
  • Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure holistic care

Requirements
  • AHPRA registration (or working towards registration)
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Current Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
