About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to assume leadership of our Gig Worker Support Service at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

The successful candidate will provide strategic direction for a complex customer-focused government service that supports gig workers and platforms in Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your expertise to lead the Gig Worker Support Service within Industrial Relations Victoria
  • Provide advice on workers' entitlements and work status
  • Administer the Fair Conduct and Accountability Standards for the Victorian On-Demand Workforce
  • Negotiate with key stakeholders to achieve mutual goals

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience providing strategic leadership of complex customer-focused services within a government context
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, representational, and communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills

Requirements:

  • Relevant rights to work in Australia
