Job Title: Pastoral Care Practitioner

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the provision of spiritual and pastoral care for residents, families and staff within our organisation. This requires empathy, compassion and an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional support.

  • Deliver spiritual care services to residents based on priority needs.
  • Provide emotional support to family members and staff as required.
  • Establish collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders.

We seek a dedicated professional practitioner who upholds the dignity of people living in residential aged care and is committed to enhancing their wellbeing.

  • The successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in pastoral care, spiritual direction or a similar field.
  • They must have experience working in a similar role within aged care, healthcare or community care.
  • Proficiency in leading and facilitating meaningful rituals is essential.
  • Certified membership with SCA is also highly desirable.
