As an administrative assistant and medical receptionist, you will play a key role in servicing clients and making a difference in their lives. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in office administration in a friendly team of allied health professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the clinic, including greeting clients, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, including patient information and medical records.
  • Coordinate appointments and schedules for up to 4 practitioners.
  • Use practice management software, including Halaxy, to manage client information and appointments.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, scanning, and uploading documents.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to practice policies, ethics, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in general administrative duties, including greeting clients, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and NDIS policies and procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, time management, and organization skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft 365 and practice management software, including Halaxy.
  • Ability to maintain current knowledge of Medicare and NDIS policies and procedures.
  • Working with children and people with a disability card and NDIS screening check or the eligibility to obtain these.
