At Siemens Energy, we are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Grid Solutions team in Australia. As Australian Grid Solutions Leader, you will play a key role in driving business growth, improving market exploitation, and increasing market share in the Australian energy sector.

About the Role

As a seasoned executive with a proven track record in business management, project management, consulting, finance, marketing, or sales, you will be responsible for achieving business targets and developing country sales strategy in alignment with Global & Regional growth strategy for Grid Solutions in Australia (Pacific). You will also lead and develop the workforce, ensuring maximum productivity and effectiveness, and enable a high-performance culture of business excellence and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Mastery or equivalent experience in Engineering or Business Administration;
  • Technical knowledge and business operation experience / knowledge of common technologies related to Grid Solutions such as HVDC, FACTS, Offshore Wind Systems, Substations;
  • Proven experience of at least 10 years in business management, project management, consulting, finance, marketing, or sales;
  • Leadership experience and proven track record in people management;
  • Proven capabilities in driving change and building sustainable teams;
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels;
  • Strong set of personal skills that support building a network, developing people, culture and organization combined with proactiveness, innovation and partnership;
  • Eagerness to consistently meet and exceed commitments/ objectives while taking ownership of complex challenges;
  • Excellent business insight and a solid entrepreneurial, hands-on profile;
  • EHS mindset is part of your values;
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally as support the needs of the business and our customers.

Location and Salary

This position is based in Sydney, Australia, and offers a competitive salary of AU$150,000 - AU$200,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
