We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Responsible Gaming Officer to join our team at Mounties Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in championing our values and service standards, providing exceptional customer service, and promoting responsible gaming practices.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and Identify Potential Problem Gamblers: Effectively identify and monitor patrons who may be displaying signs of problem gambling, and provide proactive support and guidance to prevent harm.
- Provide Customer Service and Support: Offer exceptional customer service and support to patrons, addressing their queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Facilitate Gambling Assistance Conversations: Conduct relevant conversations with patrons to provide information and support on responsible gaming practices, and facilitate access to counseling and self-exclusion services.
- Record and Report Incidents: Accurately record and report instances of potential gaming harm, and contribute to the development of strategies to minimize harm.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in the hospitality industry or customer service environment, with a strong understanding of responsible gaming practices.
- Qualifications: Qualifications in customer service and managing difficult conversations are desirable.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong customer service skills, impeccable grooming and presentation, and excellent communication skills. Ability to work a flexible roster, including days, nights, and weekends, and willingness to work public holidays.
- Certifications: Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Conduct of Gambling certifications are essential.
