About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) Manager to join our team at Mounties Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in our Safer Gambling Strategy, focusing on identifying and addressing gambling-related harm, managing guest interactions, and overseeing exclusion processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and Address Gambling-Related Harm: Assist guests in making informed decisions and identify signs of gambling-related harm.
  • Manage Customer Relationships: Manage customer relationships with tact and diplomacy, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
  • Responsible Gaming Strategy: Develop, implement, and continuously improve responsible gaming strategies to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.
  • Exclusion Orders: Ensure accurate and confidential management of exclusion orders, maintaining the integrity of our responsible gaming practices.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Develop systems and reporting processes to monitor responsible gaming risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead team development and engagement, including coaching and mentoring, to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Inspections and Compliance: Lead timely, targeted, and risk-based inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced RCG Manager who possesses the following qualifications and skills:

  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience in compliance, regulation, counselling, social work, or psychology is preferred.
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the ability to develop and implement effective responsible gaming strategies.
  • Leadership Experience: Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and manage a team, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests and colleagues.
  • Qualifications and Certifications: RSA, RCG, and ARCG qualifications, as well as a criminal record check and relevant checks required for the role.
