Commercial Insights Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insights Specialist to join our finance team. As a key strategic role, you will be responsible for enhancing financial visibility and supporting high-impact commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced financial models for forecasting and strategic planning, ensuring data-driven insights inform business decisions.
  • Create and manage interactive Power BI dashboards to deliver real-time performance metrics across the organization.
  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends, performance drivers, and commercial opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic projects, including refinancing, monetisation events, and capital structure optimisation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial insights with operational goals, driving business outcomes.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data used in reporting and decision-making, maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems, reporting frameworks, and analytical capabilities, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Assist in preparing board-level presentations and investor materials, effectively communicating complex financial information.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in financial modelling and commercial analysis, with advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
  • Proven experience in corporate finance, transactions, or advisory, with strong commercial acumen.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information.
