Lead Data Strategist

The Lead Data Strategist plays a pivotal role in shaping the data-driven future of Queensland Courts.

This senior role is focused on extracting, transforming, and reporting statistical information from diverse information databases to support the unit's reporting capabilities.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure alignment of work with organisational needs and support collaborative initiatives to further the development, deployment, and adoption of data-driven information systems and services.
  • Plan strategically, effectively manage workloads, and oversee the continuous iteration of outputs based on feedback and changing requirements.
  • Collaborate with external technical teams to develop, implement, and manage processes and solutions for extracting, transforming, and loading statistical information from a wide range of information systems in accordance with required standards, including thorough testing and data validation processes.
  • Demonstrate an ability to understand business requirements and translate those requirements into technical solutions by engaging with operational teams, management, and executives.
  • Proactively drive continuous improvement and modernisation of processes and technologies.
  • Monitor data extraction and transformation processes relevant to the unit to ensure business interests are protected.
