Job Opportunity: Contract Administrator/Estimator

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage the estimating and contracts administration process for luxury residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction methods, materials, and detailing, as well as excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Procore.

  • Analyse architectural plans, specifications, and other project documentation to develop accurate cost estimates for high-end residential construction projects
  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, material pricing, and labour estimates for various trades and scopes of work
  • Prepare, review, and administer contracts, including subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and variations
  • Assist in the procurement process by obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and selecting suitable suppliers
  • Monitor project costs, track variations, and provide accurate and timely reports on project financials
  • Manage progress claims, invoicing, and ensure timely payment to subcontractors and suppliers
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing the full Estimating and Contracts Administration process on luxury residential projects
  • Working closely with the Director and the broader project team to contribute to the business's success
  • Delivering accurate and timely reports on project financials
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years' experience as an Estimator/Contract Administrator across architecturally designed residential projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to pick up on inconsistencies or issues early
  • Proficiency in Procore and other relevant software
