Job Role: Construction Project Coordinator
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, from initial planning to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing architectural plans and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates for residential construction projects
- Preparing detailed quantity take-offs, material pricing, and labor estimates for various trades and scopes of work
- Managing contracts, including subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and variations
- Assisting in the procurement process by obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and selecting suitable suppliers
- Monitoring project costs, tracking variations, and providing timely reports on project financials
- Managing progress claims, invoicing, and ensuring timely payment to subcontractors and suppliers
Requirements:
- Minimum three years' experience as a Contract Administrator/Estimator across architecturally designed residential projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing
- Excellent attention to detail - able to pick up on inconsistencies or issues early
- Proficiency using Procore
- A proactive, accountable approach - you manage your own time and deliver reliable results
