Compassionate Speech Therapist for NDIS Participants in North Western Melbourne

About this role
- We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team, providing life-changing speech pathology to National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants in North Western Melbourne and surrounding areas.
As a Speech Therapist at Everyday Independence, you will work in diverse settings, including homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres. You will utilise evidence-based measurement tools and your skills in assessment to create therapy plans and provide support to participants in achieving their goals and maximising NDIS funding.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives and is looking for a full-time or part-time position.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality speech pathology services to NDIS participants
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams of allied health professionals
- Building meaningful relationships with participants and their supporters
- Attending weekly team meetings and contributing to the development of therapy plans

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology
- Registration with Speech Pathology Australia
- Positive and flexible approach to work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Valid driver's licence
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
