Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team in Western Melbourne. As an established therapist, you will have the opportunity to provide best practice, evidence-based occupational therapy services across the scope of practice to adults and young people with a disability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapy in various settings, including homes, educational settings, and the community, aimed at maximising a person's functional skills and participation.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists, to support client goals.
  • Provide indirect customer service and family coordination to support client goals.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will share Yooralla's values and have:

  • Experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • A willingness to improve on your clinical practice, including self-reflection and a focus on developing clinical skills in areas you're not familiar with.
  • Care for the work you do and for the people you work with.
  • Competency in a variety of IT platforms, particularly client management systems.
  • Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • AHPRA Registration (Occupational Therapy), and
  • An Australian driver's licence and own vehicle, and a willingness to travel across Western Melbourne region, as required.
