Job Title: SCADA Engineer - Renewable EnergyBased in Sydney, this position offers a unique opportunity for career advancement and growth in the renewable sector. The role requires an experienced SCADA Engineer to drive the company's growth and contribute to the development of renewable energy solutions.Key Responsibilities:
  • Integration and Commissioning: Ensure seamless integration and commissioning of BESS systems inline with grid codes, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Configuration and Validation: Configure and validate PCS, BMS & SCADA platforms to ensure optimal performance.
  • Field Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT): Conduct FAT and SAT tasks to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
  • Ongoing Support: Provide ongoing support to sites through post-commissioning tuning, configuration, and diagnostics.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics or Control Systems) with a specialization in SCADA, PCS, EMS systems.
  • Experience: Proven track record of successfully commissioning and supporting equivalent renewable projects with exposure to BESS and energy storage.
  • Communication Protocols: Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols.
  • Australian Grid Standards: Familiarity of Australian grid standards and compliance requirements.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Excellent communication and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
