Job Title: SCADA Commissioning Engineer for Renewable Energy Projects

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled SCADA Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the integration and commissioning of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in line with grid codes, specifications, and safety standards.

Your primary focus will be on configuration and validation tasks related to PCS, BMS & SCADA platforms. You will also conduct FAT & SAT tasks, provide ongoing support to site through post-commissioning tuning, CI, and diagnostics.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Integration and commissioning of BESS in line with grid codes, specifications, and safety standards
  • Configuration and validation tasks related to PCS, BMS & SCADA platforms
  • Conducting FAT & SAT tasks
  • Ongoing support to site through post-commissioning tuning, CI, and diagnostics
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering (electrical, mechatronics or control systems)
  • Specialisation in SCADA, PCS, EMS systems
  • Proven track record of successfully commissioning and supporting equivalent renewable projects with exposure to BESS and energy storage
  • Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols
  • Familiarity with Australian grid standards and compliance requirements
