Based in Sydney and with global backing, this supplier ofBESS and Energy Storage products are looking to continue their growth in the renewable sector. They already have an install base in Australia and have established partnerships with suppliers and clients throughout the region.

They are part of a larger group that is a well known supplier of packaged substations, kiosks, e-houses, LV / MV switchgear and transformers is experiencing continual growth and increasing demand for their products and solutions.

All assembly of products and fabrication is completed in house to ensure compliance to Australian standards ahead of testing, installation and commissioning.

SCADA Commissioning Engineer / BESS Integration Engineer

As an experienced SCADA Engineer you will be responsible for all BESS integration and commissioning activities associated with their upcoming grid connected BESS projects.

This role is suitable for an experienced SCADA Engineer - intermediate or senior who enjoys the construction and commissioning phases of renewable projects.

Responsibilities :

  • Integration and commissioning of BESS inline with grid cones, specs and safety standards
  • Configuration and validation tasks relating to PCS, BMS & SCADA platforms
  • Conducting FAT & SAT tasks
  • Ongoing support to site through post-commissioning tuning, CI and diagnostics

Skills / Experience :

Bachelor Degree in Engineering (electrical, mechatronics or control systems) & a specialisation in SCADA, PCS, EMS systemsProven track record of successfully commissioning and supporting equivalent renewable projects with exposure to BESS and energy storageStrong understanding of industrial communication protocolsFamiliarity of Australian grid standards and compliance requirementsExcellent communication and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
